Summary: This was our first trip to Bayeux/Normandy area and this beautiful cottage was everything we anticipated and more. The interior was exactly as the pictures represented, and all that I had envisioned a country cottage in France might be. The hosts/owners have painstakingy restored this accommodation, and have only recently utilized it as a vacation rental. Its character and charm are captured wonderfully by Carole and Stephan, who were gracious and communicative hosts. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen space plentiful for what we needed (mostly making coffee before heading out to explore!). The cottage is tremendously convenient to Bayeux and the Normandy beaches, which were easily reached by car. The accommodationn is clean, bright, and tastefully decorated, which shows the pride of ownership in the property, which has been in Carole's family for generations. It is an easy call to book this accommodation again on our next visit to the area.
